Meet Valerie Leon at The Film Fair
The gorgeous Valerie Leon will be appearing at the next Film Fair in Camden Town, North London, on Saturday 8th December. The Film Fair has been operating for the past 33 years and offers film fans the chance to meet some of their favourite stars from many classic productions.
Valerie is best known for her roles in three of the biggest, most memorable British film franchises of all time. She appeared in six Carry On films between 1968 and 1973 (Up The Khyber, Camping, Again Doctor, Up The Jungle, Matron and Girls) as well as the 1972 Carry On Christmas television special. Working alongside the likes of Sid James, Bernard Bresslaw and Charles Hawtrey, Valerie became a firm favourite with fans of the series and remains so to this day.
Valerie also co-starred in two James Bond adventures - The Spy Who Loved Me with the late Sir Roger Moore and in 1983, Never Say Never Again with Sir Sean Connery. Taking the dual lead in the classic 1971 Hammer Horror, Blood From The Mummy's Tomb, Valerie assured her place amongst the very best of British horror stars. And who can forget her turn as the leather clad, whip wielding Tanya in The Revenge of the Pink Panther opposite Herbert Lom?
It's always great to see Valerie flying the flag for the very best of British film and television so do go along to meet her at the Film Fair. You can meet Valerie between 10am - 4pm at The Electric Ballroom, Camden Town on Saturday 8th December. Admission is £5.
