And so, once again December is upon us. I'll be bringing you a daily dose of festive Carry On cheer each day on the lead up to the 25th.
So every day I will bring you another cracking Carry On photo with a festive theme. They will probably all be rather naughty, but hopefully all quite nice.
Following yesterday's trip to panto land, I've decided to continue on a similar theme with today's festive photo. Along with the likes of Terry Scott and Kenneth Connor, Peter Butterworth was a legendary pantomime dame. This pivotal panto role demands huge energy, charisma and comedic timing and regular Carry On scene stealer Peter B was one of the best! A natural comedy actor, his appearance in the 1969 Carry On Christmas television special showed just how excellent Peter was at turning his hand to a bit of outrageous panto drag!
