Fenella Fielding will be on Radio 4 tomorrow afternoon, contributing to a programme telling the story of that classic 1960s children's show, The Magic Roundabout.
In Here We Go Round Again, Sophie Thompson and Phyllida Law, daughter and wife of the late Eric Thompson, tell the story of how The Magic Roundabout came to be, why it became so popular and what happened during the making of the iconic series. Eric, who had been involved with Play School before this series, wrote and voiced all the characters. Several years later he also directed Kenneth Williams in the play My Fat Friend - something of a strained relationship developed, if Kenneth's diaries are to be believed!
It's always lovely to hear Fenella's dulcet tones, so if you can tune in the programme will be broadcast tomorrow at 4pm on BBC Radio 4.
