Here we go with another quick round up of what some of our favourite Carry On stars are getting up to. There's quite a lot going on so without further ado..
Barbara Windsor has been in the news quite a bit recently with her impending return to EastEnders. You can read more about that here

The lovely Anita Harris is working away as hard as ever, touring with her own shows and as part of someone other people's up and down the country. She's going to be appearing for a fair stint at the Brick Lane Music Hall In London soon. You can check out her touring schedule here
The next London Film Convention is due to take place on 21 May. There is already a strong Carry On presence with Liz Fraser, Jacki Piper, Fenella Fielding and Alan Curtis all confirmed. You can read more about that here

The evergreen Bernard Cribbins has been filming the role of Snout in Russell T Davies' adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream for the BBC. Further information on that here
Actress Angela Grant recently appeared on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow alongside a poster of Carry On Up The Khyber. You can see this here:
This one is from a good few month back but I just had to include it. At the age of 78 former Carry On and Bond girl Shirley Eaton has recreated her famous pose from Goldfinger, covered in gold paint. She said she did it "for all the older ladies". Good for her! You can read about that here
Amanda Barrie has been reminiscing about her time working with and getting to know the late Billy Fury in a new documentary for BBC4. Amanda wrote about her special relationship with Fury in her autobiography. They met whilst filming the 1965 musical comedy I've Gotta Horse. The documentary is available on the BBC iPlayer
And finally, the new Absolutely Fabulous film has been in the headlines as a trailer has been released. Whatever you make of this latest incarnation of the classic BBC series, at least we still have the thought of seeing the delightful June Whitfield back on the big screen. She reprises her role as Mother alongside another veteran Carry On actress, the super Wanda Ventham. You can view the trailer here
