I was brought up on carry on films. I think Camping was my introduction to the series although I think my favourite colour film is behind closely followed by loving. My favourite b/w film is cabby. I shave watched most of the films but not all. I prefer those in the golden era of carry ons. Joan sims and Bernard breslaw are my fave actors but being honest I love them all. I've never been to a location where the films were made. A pity really. I'd love to visit the film studios etc and locations. Maybe one day. I think carry on films encapsulate the ideal of what you hoped the uk or some time in history should have been like. If new films were to be made they couldn't recreate the atmosphere and maybe we shouldn't try. But I wish they had done a xouple of extra films. Maybe carry on prime minister and carry on airline stewardess
The films will always have a special place in my heart.
