Tea For Two

The fantastic Amanda Barrie has co-starred in a new short film. Amanda, best known for her long stint in Coronation Street as Alma, not to mention two glorious Carry On films, appears in Tea For Two with the wonderful John Challis from Only Fools and Horses.

Amanda and John play a rather eccentric retired couple running a tea shop in the idyllic English countryside. However, according to the write up of the film, all is not what it seems!

"The film was shot in 3 days in the West Mill Tea Room in the idyllic Hertfordshire village of West Mill.

‘Tea For Two’ is a throwback to classic British comedy with a modern twist.

The story centres on the eccentric Jim & Alice, a long-retired couple running a seemingly quiet village tea shop.

When the empty shop finally gets some customers, the couple’s peculiar behaviour ensures it’s more than a pot of tea and slice of cake being served. "

It all sounds very intriguing! The film has been written and directed by Mark Brennan and is a joint venture between Pork Chop Pictures and Mini Productions. You can view a trailer at the 'Tea For Two' website .
