Pictured above we have the most prolific actors to appear in 1975. They are as follows: Elke Sommer as Professor Anna Vooshka; Kenneth Williams as Professor Roland Crump; Bernard Bresslaw pictured above as Arthur Upmore; Kenneth Connor as Major Leap; Jack Douglas as Ernie Bragg; Joan Sims pictured as Daphne Barnes; Windsor Davies as Fred Ramsden; Peter Butterworth as Henry Barnes and finally, Liz Fraser as Sylvia Ramsden.
Of those featured above, only two actors (Williams and Connor) were original cast members from the very first film, Carry On Sergeant in 1958. International guest star Elke Sommer joined the gang for a starring role in Carry On Behind. She was paid £30 000 for her performance equaling the fee paid to Phil Silvers in Follow That Camel. Windsor Davies also joined the Carry Ons in 1975, taking on the role of lusty butcher Fred Ramsden. The role was originally written for Sid James, who was touring in a play at the time of filming.
The film marked the last appearance for Carry On regular Bernard Bresslaw. Arthur Upmore would be his fourteenth and final role in the series. Behind also saw a return to the Carry On films for Liz Fraser, playing the supporting role of Windsor Davies' wife. Liz had last appeared in Carry On Cabby way back in 1963.
