Carrying On in the strangest places...

It's amazing what you find when you're surfing the net. Ah, the 1970s. Remember those wonderful public information films that would appear on a variety of mundane subjects?

Well here is one with a Carry On connection. I adore the late, great Patsy Rowlands. She had a long and varied career in British entertainment from the 1950s until her sad death in 2005. In 1976 she popped up to warn the Great British public about the importance of not beggaring about with fire doors.

Perhaps not the pinnacle of Patsy's career, but a blast from the past. Watch out too for an appearance by Peter Cleall, best remembered as Duffy in the classic school-based sitcom, Please Sir!
